Social Anxiety
and Isolation
Social anxiety is a chronic mental health condition that causes people to equate social interactions with fear, anxiety, self-consciousness and embarrassment. Continued social anxiety often also leads to significant isolation as sufferers withdraw from friends, family members and their communities in order to avoid the occurrences of emotions and experiences that their anxiety creates.
How we can help
Talk therapy is a proven method of improving the occurrence of social anxiety, increasing confidence and re-engaging in social activities. Our clinic utilises a variety of methods in order to engage children in the therapy process such as Walk and Talk, pet assisted therapy, exercise therapy, drone and scooter play therapy and more.
