What is Pet Assisted Therapy?
Pet assisted therapy is the process of incorporating a trained therapy pet into the therapy process to assist with rapport development, easing of anxiety, increase of self-esteem and confidence, understanding of patience and interactive skills and much more.

How we can help
School Refusal Clinic's number one employee is Max the Therapy Dog! Max is a qualified therapy pet who joins in on many of our therapy sessions and is hugely popular with the kids we work with.

Max is active, engaging and helps kids to learn a variety of like skills through a fun and positive method.
