What are treatment resistant children?
Treatment resistant children are those that are strongly opposed to the concept of receiving assistance, and/or those that have experienced numerous instances of therapy that have not assisted them in the past.
How we can help
One of the most unique aspects of our clinic is the variety of ways we incorporate therapy into fun and engaging activities such as pet assistance, scooter and drone play and exercise. These techniques enable the children we work with the opportunity to engage first with the activity and then with the practitioner in order to become comfortable, develop a rapport and then open up and pursue the therapy.
